Anxiously awaiting the start of Sesame Street Live with Elmo this afternoon.
Daddy laughed and said $10 was too much to pay for a balloon. Then he said he was taking Lauren for a walk at intermission. He came back with the balloon :)
This little Elmo groupie was dressed for the part today!Elmo's World Live. At this point, Lauren was GLUED on him.We sat in floor seats in the 4th row. Not too shabby!
Hugging the Elmo decor at the gift shop stand. Seriously.

We spent a morning at the zoo last weekend with our friends Andy, Rachel and Sophie to enjoy some unseasonably warm November weather. This picture makes me laugh because Andy was trying to have it be a picture of JUST the girls. Oh well :)
Riding the zoo train.
We've had a very busy few weeks around here. We took our house off of the market on Oct. 31, only to get an offer on it 4 days later. We went back and forth with counter offers and finally rejected when they just wouldn't offer something we were happy with. So now the house is off the market until January. Then we'll see what happens :)
We had a wonderful visit last weekend with my parents when they came to stay with us for my Dad's birthday. We bought him the "famous" apple pie-in-a-bag from the Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago and got some cute pics of Lauren and her Boppa with his birthday dessert.
This weekend, Chad's family came to stay and helped us out by watching Lauren while we went to yesterday's Badger football game. After they left today, we took our Elmo-obsessed daughter to Madison to see Sesame Street Live with Elmo. She loved it but expected Elmo to be on-stage the entire time. Poor Big Bird thought he was chopped liver when he was on-stage and Lauren (as well as many other little ones) kept yelling "Elmo! Elmo!". It was cute :)
Have a good week!

Love,

M & L

In all those pictures with her hair down and her backpack on, she looks like Grandma Steighner. We got suckered into the $10 balloon too!
