A quick update with lots of pictures....
We are all doing well. At the twins' one-month check-up (can you believe they're a month old already?!?!), Madison had grown to 8lbs 6oz (up a pound and a half in a 12 day period) but Kate had only grown to 5lbs 5oz (up 3 oz in a 12 day period). We have since had to make a change in how we feed Kate. They both get only breastmilk but Madison nurses exclusively while Kate gets a 3oz breastmilk bottle at each feeding (after nursing for a little while). We discovered that the problem was she wasn't sucking strong enough when nursing to get enough milk. Thus the need for a bottle too. It has worked! Today I took Kate in to the doctor for a weight check and she has put on a pound in 8 days since starting the bottles. Woohoo!
Lauren has had a whole lot of Halloween fun in recent days. She visited Flabbergast (an indoor inflatable playplace) on Halloween with her daycare friends. She and Sophia had a great time at the Trick or Treat Path in Pewaukee. They got to go around a path and trick-or-treat from various Disney characters. We discovered that both girls are terrified of costumes with masks. Lauren was even scared of Mickey Mouse initially!

The newly-engaged Karlee and Matt. They came for a visit while in town for a friend's wedding.

If you can tell that this is short and sweet, it's because it's bedtime and I'm exhausted. The babies are sleeping well at night though! They continue to do four-hour stretches and wake at the same time to eat. I can't complain about that!
