October 2012

Kate was the first to walk.  She did so just two weeks before their first birthday.  Madison started walking a month later, two weeks after their birthday.

Daddy was on a work trip, so we got to carve pumpkins with Boppa Lucas!

We spent a weekend at Disney World with just the 3 of us.  I wish I could say we had an awesome time.  Suffice it to say there were fun moments and we learned about things we'll do differently next time.

Rapunzel wasn't at the Meet and Greet the first time we were there.  So of course we had to go back :)  This time, Lauren was THRILLED to meet her favorite princess!

Now Lauren isn't supposed to tell anyone, but Rapunzel told her that she's her new best friend  :)

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is actually pretty scary.  This was one of the times we had less fun than we'd hoped.

 

The hotel we stayed at was brand new and was actually pretty neat!  It's a LONG walk through the elephant graveyard (literally) to get to the Ariel building though.  Not sure the developers thought that through so well.  Pretty scary for Lauren!

 

Despite hurricane weather, we spent a day at the beach.  It was pretty cold and windy (hence why we had the beach almost to ourselves) but we were determined!

From this distance, you can't tell that their lips were blue and their teeth were chattering!

We got to visit Chad's grandmother for a day as well!

Well, that's October in a nutshell.  How long until I can get to November, December and January???
