I'm on spring break this week and we enjoyed a fun day at the zoo. Lauren loved the slide there and went down many, many times.

Mimi and Boppa Lucas sent Lauren a set of figurines from Finding Nemo. She's totally in love with them and calls them "My guys". She even sleeps with them!
Lauren's scrubs were a gift from Aunt Karlee. Too cute.
Aunt Karlee and Uncle Matt came for a night last weekend. Lauren had fun playing with them and doing a family favorite...baking brownies!
What's new with us? We close on our house Friday morning and will officially be renters until we move into our new home this fall. We've signed our building contract and are waiting to sign off on the final plans. Once we do that and have our formal loan committment, then we can break ground!
Lauren is talking like crazy and says the funniest things. When she noticed that the snow had melted, she said "Daddy do that?" "No honey, Daddy didn't melt all the snow." "Ho Ho do that?" "Um, no honey, Santa didn't melt it either." Too cute :)
She's on a roll with going potty on her big girl potty. She's been using it multiple times every day while I'm on break this week. I think she'll soon be wearing big girl underwear!
