Update from Dad

Well, here's a post before everyone heads to bed....except us.

Since the last update, we were able to progress enough that the Dr. broke Mindy's water at 3:45pm. That was after an hour of thinking we would either be going home or waiting here over night and trying again tomorrow. Once the water was broken, guaranteed baby in less than 24 hours (I remember that from class).

At this point, we just passed the 12 1/2 hour mark for pitocin, have had the epidural in for 1 1/2 hours and at last check (approx. 1 hour ago) only made it to 4.5 cm. Mindy is comfortable and can barely feel the contractions, but Dr. is a little concerned that things aren't moving faster. He will be back to check in about another hour and hopefully things have progressed.
